You gotta know when to text.

Men seem to love the invention of text messaging. I wrote about this in a blog about a month back and one man responded that men text so they don’t have to have a long conversation with women. There is probably a little, okay a lot of truth to that. But even so, there are some things that men just need give in and give up the text messaging. 
The texting is getting out of control.  Case in point: “The Proposal” star Ryan Reynolds proposed to his wife, Scarlett Johansson via Text Message! True story:

It was just any text, however, as he admits he put a lot of thought and effort into what it said. “The hardest part was to compress all of that love, all of that joy into just one text message,” he reveals. “And then it was just hitting send.” Whatever he said must have made an impact because she said yes and the couple got married in a super secret wedding back in September.

So he got lucky! There is a reason it was so hard to do, because a proposal is one of those conversations that weren’t meant for texting. There should be a list of conversations not suitable for text message.


She said yes to a proposal she received over text message!

In a less technology-oriented world, Sly Stallone once broke up with girlfriend Jennifer Flavin via a letter sent FedEx…they since have gotten married and have three kids.

“I just fell down my stairs. Again.” (as texted from me to a friend yesterday. it took her three hours to write back to inquire if i was ok and in need of assistance.)

I lost all our money in a pyramid scam, sorry honey.
