Think you are a mystery? If you are a tweeter, you are more predictable than you realize…
Researchers evaluated tweets using an Affective Norms for English Words (ANEW) word list that scores words based on their connotations. For example, “wedding” is a happy word, but “bored” is a sad word.
Tweeters have a pattern:
6-7am – Happy Tweets I tweet out my Today Is, during that hour.
Noon-4pm – Sad Tweets
4pm-night – Positive Tweets
Work Week – Sad/Miserable Tweets They typically start with “if they’re all saying ‘my boss’ or ‘I have to go to work tomorrow,’ then we can start to answer some of these questions,”
As one Tweeter Goes, ad New One is Born…
Kanye, Kanye, Kanye! Although he once denounced Twitter, he has now gone to the birds. Kanye West opened a new Twitter account, and had meetings at Twitter and Facebook’s head quarters. Follow Kanye here.
And sadly, the oldest Tweeter passed away yesterday. Ivy Bean, age 104.
“Ivy passed away peacefully at 12.08 this morning,” a tweet said. Sweet Ivy had over 56,000 followers and posted more than 1,000 tweets about food, family and friendships from her home in Bradford.
