I know a man named Dave who has stepped up his game fashion wise as of late. I thought it was the influence if his wife and three daughters, but they say its all him.
So I asked him what his secret was, and he said he loves the cold weather because he loves to layer.
He got me thinking that everyone has a season that they naturally rock–fashion wise.
I haven’t quite figured mine out, although I think it might be Spring.
That said, I have noticed that each season takes on a stylistic personality. This Summer I was all about the dress. Fall 2009 had me crazy for blue jeans.
And this Winter expect to find me in UGGS, leggings, a long cute sweater and an optional scarf.
Here’s why I love this get up:
Comfortable shoes make the world go round and UGGS are so ugly, they are stylish.
Leggings allow me to eat as much as I like with comfort.
Long Sweaters keep me warm and cover my rear. I’m over thirty. Scratch that I’m over twelve. No one needs to see my rear in leggings. It doesn’t matter how thin you are, leggings aren’t cute on your rear.
Hint: If the sweater exposes the butt, layer with a long tank top or a long tissue tee.
