Best Places to Live 2010 | Did your city make the list?

Money Magazine just released the Best Places to Live in the US list for 2010. These are the best places for “jobs, great schools, safe streets, low crime, lots to do, charm, and other features that make a town great for raising a family.”
Austin didn’t make the list of 100 at all. It’s a bittersweet result. I mean who doesn’t love Austin? On the other hand, maybe our population growth will steady if we aren’t officially the best… (I should mention my birth town, Ames, IA made the list.)
Perhaps your city had more luck.
The top cities include: (rank, city and population)
- Eden Prairie, MN | 64,000
- Columbia/Ellicott City, MD | 155,000
- Newton, MA | 82,000
- Bellevue, WA |124,000
- McKinney, TX | 125,000
- Fort Collins, CO | 141,000
- Overland Park, KS | 175,000
- Fishers, IN | 69,000
- Ames, IA | 60,000
- Rogers, AR | 57,000
