Beauty Buzz | New Beauty Bits for the Girl-On-The-Go

I’d been putting it off for quite some time, but last week I needed to take a trip to my beauty stores. I’m telling you every time I walk in there I walk out with great beauty tips! I must pass them on…

Here are two quick beauty tips/musts:

It's an easy way to create a custom perfume on the go!

1) Refillable Atomizer with amazing technology! Go directly to Sephora and get it.

It was time to replenish my Nannette Lepore roll-on.

Perfume on-the-go is ideal for the girl-on-the-go who needs to smell sweet at every stage of the day.

I stumbled upon this little gem it because they no longer carry the Nannette at my particular Sephora. No! But then the wonderful associate helping me showed me that they sell the atomizers that you can fill with any fragrance.

Even better, and this is must: The GenieS! refillable technology atomizer. Instead of squirting your perfume in the atomizer and making a mess, this particular contraption has a pump on the bottom of the atomizer that connects to your perfume bottle No funnel, no mess. So easy. So green.  $15

2) Change out your nail polish.

I know what you are thinking, Roxanne, you use a lot more nail polish than I do.

Old vs. New: Notice how the clear coat got mucky. Yuck.

And it is true, I get my nails done 1-2 times a week (occupational hazard). So maybe that makes me an expert. *wink wink* Regardless of how much you are using your nail polish, it ages in that bottle. Because I use it so often, I didn’t realize that my polish was thickening. What I did notice was my polished nails were starting to have air bubbles. So I headed to Ulta and got my staples: OPI Samoan Sand an Essie Super Duper Top Coat.  See the difference for yourself.

* Polish Purchase Tip: Remember never by the first bottle on the shelf. Compare the bottles, look for air bubbles. Open the bottle. Does the polish drip naturally off of the brush or is it slow and thick. You want it to drip.*

*Beauty Bonus: Whether you shop at Sephora, Ulta, CVS, or even the Beauty Store, take advantage of their reward cards. It’s free to join and you get kickbacks on your purchases or fun freebies. Win:Win.*

I didn’t know about the nail polish drip trick and I didn’t think about not buying the first one though I think I subconsciously do that. Good tips!!!
